This approach is already possible with RootFS Build Factory!
1. Generate an Image for Qemu using rbf.py. This just an image without
any bootloader. Release this image.
2. Download this image. Install it to your card with rbfinstaller.py.
It gives you an option to choose from list of possible boards (Right
now, it uses uboot from the github repo)
