'backporting' is perhaps not the right term here, these are just 
packages that are built along the same codepath. For people who run 
CentOS-5 and are not looking to reinstall with 5.4, hese are just 
regular updates.

I'll try and get a more comprehensive writeup and post that later in the 
day today.
