We have only officially modified 3 packages ... centos-indexhtml,
centos-release, centos-logos.  All the other mods will come from the
public branding hunt that is happening on this mailing list.

The code gets put into the git repo, yes ... then we use it.

Not sure what the question or joke is?

Exactly how we handle modified SRPMS (other than those 3) has yet to be
determined, as we don't yet have a full list of those packages that
require modification.
