Not to mention that's still not the current LTS 3.18 release which is
presently up to 3.18.25 ...

So just as last time you posted this I ask of you - how are you planning to
maintain this? You are obviously not backporting anything given those
instructions for use...

This can lead to critical security issues (for example see today's
announcement of CVE-2016-0728) which would leave people vulnerable if using
your spec and instructions.
