2 Weeks, no acknowledgement of the issue, no ETA for a fix, no 
discussion, little hope?

It's easy for Red Hat folks to come onto this list and make promises, 
but you have to back it up with action. The community identified an 
issue. The community identified the solution. It's an easy fix. RH's bit 
is to fix the issue. The longer it sits there ...
