It's true that we do not want to repeat topics already available in
the published documents.  However, if there is an offer to write a new
article and it has to go through discussion / debates this much, that
is a good sign (to me) that the write-up is worth it.  As we all know,
having something in the wiki has its own advantages; anyone can add /
improve / update the information there.  Notes that are unique to
CentOS could be added. This is not possible with static documents.

So, I would say, "go for it" at this point in the thread.  Also, if
this goes to a lengthy discussion, it would discourage other people
who are thinking of contributing to the wiki.  We do not want to scare
them away.  We want to encourage anyone who wants to donate their time
and effort.
