I've looked at my sent mail headers and found a References: header item. Hadn't seen that before. Is that what the list uses to tie threads together? I was naively thinking it was the subject that made it part of the thread, but always thought that was a flimsy method. D'oh! I shall not do that again. My sincere apologies.
