[CentOS] YUM Plugins: I seem to be "unplugged"?

yum install yum-plugin-protectbase

If fastest mirror is already working, then this should be too.

you need to add the lines:

protect=1

or

protect=0 

to all repos in /etc/yum.conf or /etc/yum.repos.d/*.repo files.

AND you need to edit /etc/yum.conf and add the line:

plugins=1
