And no, other RHEL rebuilds face the same "problem". Either you want to go for stability - then use CentOS, RHEL, Scientific Linux or whatever. Or you need newer Software and are used to RedHat-like software - then use Fedora Core. The thing about CentOS is *stability* and *reliability*. If that is not what you're after, you really should be using something different. Not that I want to put you off of CentOS.
