I fully agree that this is an issue caused by zenoss and not by centos
and there is one forum posting (without replies) with the same problem.

When I searched on Google for this issue (leaving out zenoss), I saw a
plethora of reports on the same library libpng12.so.0 from various
software installed on various distributions.

So I figured, why not teach someone to fish...that's why I asked here,
because there are probably people here who could provide enough
background information for me (and others like me) who could learn to
solve their own problems rather than waiting for some software developer
to fix it.
