(btw I believe, as far as projects "live" in any geographic location, openmosix lives in Israel). If you can hold out for RHEL5/CentOS5 then Xen might be useful. Apparently, and I've not done this, one can boot a Xen guest in one physical box, then migrate it to another while it's running.
