You may need to cut your teeth upstream on Fedora (a cutting edge product) as it changes frequently and has tons of updates. With an Enterprise distro the aim is stability to run mission critical servers. With the latest and greatest distro (Fedora), the aim is to roll out tons of updates and have you test them out.
