If you can wait, some recent posts in other threads indficate that glibc
is to be upgraded in 5.3 (which RH has recently released ?). So CentOS
should offer the updates in around 5 weeks or so.

I don't have enough knowledge to offer anything more. Hopefully some
others can help you sooner.
