I have created a new mirror location for the CentOS distribution. For now only HTTP unfortunatly. It's available at: http://mirror.colocenter.nl/pub/centos/ Server is located in Zoetermeer, The netherlands. The bandwidth cap is 1gbit at the moment. Problem with Stanford.edu mirror.

The mirror list here: http://www.centos.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=30 lists stanford.edu as a mirror, with RSYNC access. However, when I try the URL rsync://mirror.stanford.edu/mirrors/centos/ I get this from my rsync client: $ rsync rsync://mirror.stanford.edu/mirrors/centos/ @ERROR: access denied to mirrors from [my hostname and IP address] rsync error: error starting client-server protocol (code 5) at main.c(1534) [Receiver=3.0.9] Are the Stanford mirror admins around? :) j -- Joshua J.
