hi Guys,
Let me welcome everyone to the list. At this point we have the CentOS
guys, Calxeda and Citrix/Xen represented here.
Johnny has been working away on the code / compile side of things, so
I will let him do a brief writeup on where things stand on that front.
The aim of this list is to bootstrap a community around the
CentOS/Xen/ARM effort. As a step1 we are going to bring in a couple of
vendors who have been working with Calxeda, and then try to generate
some traction at the Linaro Connect event on July the 8th 2013. Till
that point, this is a private list. On/around the 8th we will open it
up and start promoting it as a target for CentOS activities around the
ARM platform.
The code level goal we are working towards initially is to have a
CentOS instance that boots, runs openssh-server and can execute yum.
This might be either CentOS or as-close-to CentOS codebase as we can
get working.
Regards
