Gigabyte MP30-AR0

Hi, I am toying with the idea of getting a Gigabyte MP30-AR0 board (despite the insanely exorbitant price tag). Has anyone got the aarch64 CentOS working on one of those? Any special instructions? Also, if I get the ISO, is it bootable on aarch64? Does the installer work? Or does the image have to be used like on 32-bit ARM? Thanks. Gordan

centos 7 64 bit on raspberry Pi 3

Hello, I was wondering if there is a procedure for installing Centos 7 on the Raspberry Pi 3 B+ while installing Centos 7.5 on armhfp is very clear and documented given that a raw root image is provided and you just "dd" it on the memory card, it is not clear to me how to do it with aarch64. A ISO image is provided but how to install it on the raspberry ? thank you Rick

Ok, I see this epel-release in the epel1 repo that I installed via the wiki. So I decide to install it, and it created an epel.repo.rpmnew file. I swicth around the files and try a 'yum update' and get: epel/armhfp/metalink | 47 kB 00:00 Could not parse metalink https://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/metalink?repo=epel-7&arch=armhfp error was No repomd file One of the configured repositories failed (Unknown), and yum doesn't have enough cached data to continue. At this point the only safe thing yum can do is fail. There are a few ways to work "fix" this: .... File /var/cache/yum/armhfp/7/epel/metalink.xml does not exist So I put everything back.

Hi Jim, It's been a while, since I sent the patch. Any objections about merging? Is v4.11 kernel still a valid baseline or for the next releases or we should use v4.14? When is that transition and next release supposed to happen? Different issues with "DTOVERLAY".

Odroid-HC1 came, but

got myself an ODroid-HC1, but seems I forgot some things... Power supply! I have a right sized barrel to USB cable, but my Ankar is rated up to 3A and is fused at any draw above that. I remember looking at power supplies before, but can't find the link. UART to USB. The ones I have won't fit. They are for connecting to pins, not a connector like the HC1 has. What do I get? Plus what are the pin-outs? I really need to get a schematic for this... Case cover. For some strange reason, I thought it would come with a cover. I see now, that if you stack them you only need one cover, so it is most likely a separate order. The unit came with a small bag with 2 screws, but I cannot find any holes in the case for any screws! Strange. So after I get at least the power supply and UART to USB for console, I will be asking how to get this to boot completely from the HD like I do with my Cubies! thanks Bob

Oct 27th I was the pedestrian in a pedestrian/auto accident. Healing well enough. PT for walking and that should correct in a couple weeks. Dislocated right shoulder and that is the real limiter for the next 4 weeks. Affects my typing and mousing. Plus for the work here, reaching for and doing all I do with my arm boards. Thus I hope now to spend some time on Centos/Fedora arm work, but reduced until the arm is out of the sling. Bob

Hi, No anomalies on my Orange Pi Plus 2E (SOC: Allwinner H3), Did not check video (HDMI-Out) yet; It did not work with the kernel 4.18.x. Using it headless anyway it did/does not have any prio for me.
