Updates for CentOS on Arm

Hi there, in the last time the were a few updates for my workstation running CentOS 7 for x86_64, but I can't see any update for armv7hl. Last one was 2016-12-14. Is this correct? Is there a plan to bring the updates to armv7hl? Thanks Andreas

Updated Kernel, still booting old kernel

What am I missing here? System hung yesterday

My server hung yesterday. I did not notice it; at this stage in the game, I should be much more aware... I looked into /var/log/messages and my last entry was: Feb 5 15:03:46 medon kernel: conntrack: generic helper won't handle protocol 47 . Please consider loading the specific helper module. So I don't know if someone knocked me over with a GRE based attack, if the drive is bad, if the board is bad, or the OS has a problem. So simple things to start with. I see an earlier GRE warning in messages: Feb 5 03:29:49 medon kernel: conntrack: generic helper won't handle protocol 47. Please consider loading the specific helper module. So it is probably not a stack problem with attacking GRE bots. BTW, is there some 'easy' way to just block these? As to the drive: Is there some way to run a SMART? check on the drive? Can't really tell too well if it is a board problem other than to watch more closely to see how things go, is there anywhere else I should look to find the problem? thanks

armhfp debuginfo packages?

My first production Centos7-armv7 server

medon.htt-consult.com is up and running in production mode. It is the second Cubieboard2 from the top in this tower: http://medon.htt-consult.com/~rgm/cubieboard/cubietower-3.JPG It is a simple web server so I can put up files for people to get. I need to seriously update my main web pages... Next are my DNS servers, both internal and external. thanks for the help and the OS.

The symptoms you are describing seem more typically indicative of an Apache configuration problem. Do tail -f on /var/log/audit/audit.log and see what appears there. If there is a SELinux violation, it will show up in there.

Anyone running named on armv7 with selinux?

I am ready for my next test, to try out named on a Cubieboard2. I want to run named with SELinux and not chroot named, and with the problems I have had so far with SELinux and HTTPD that no one has commented on what to do to fix the problem, I was interested to first check out for any experience with named. I could always run named chrooted without enabling SELinux. That is how I am running right now with RSEL6 (which does not have SELinux working). But I would rather get back to using SELinux and not chroot, as I had for years on Intel Centos. I have not seen any posts on updates to the Centos7-armv7 rpms, so I am assuming that there has not been any fixes to my SELinux problems. So anyone out there running named? thanks

Unfortunately, that doesn't quite get me there: modprobe sdhci-of-arasan sdhci: Secure Digital Host Controller Interface driver sdhci: Copyright(c) Pierre Ossman sdhci-pltfm: SDHCI platform and OF driver helper No mention of mmc0. :-( modprobing mmc_block doesn't seem to help. MMC Kernel Driver for Gigabyte MP30-AR0

Does anyone know which kernel driver is required to access the MMC port? I can access it from u-boot, but the kernel I'm using doesn't seem to load a driver for it (4.4.44 mainline). Any hints as to what driver is needed? Generic mmc_core/mmc_block don't seem to result in it showing up. TIA. Gordan

Centos aarch64 on Raspberry PI 3

I received a Raspberry PI 3 for Christmas with which I am playing. I would like to install the aarch64 CentOS 1611. However I am finding very limited information on the web as how to go about doing that. Can somebody get me started on what I need to do in order to install CentOS 1611? Some initial questions. 1.) Can the aarch64 distribution even be installed on a Raspberry PI 3? 2.) If the answer to question 1 is yes, can somebody give me some instructions on how to proceed? Links to any quick start or installation guides would be appreciated. 3.) I have not been able to get X windows to start with the armv7hl CentOS version already installed.
