centos source entries in yum.repos.d config

Hi, I am expecting to find entries for source RPMs in my repo configuration file. But I can't find them. Raspberry Pi 3 and Aarch64 image?

I'm having trouble finding an Aarch64 image for a Raspberry Pi 3. The Raspberry Pi 3 was selected as a test device because its ARMv8. Does Cent have any Aarch64 images for the Model 3? Jeff

Alsa and Pulse conflicts in Raspberry Pi 2/3

Hi all, I've just finished doing some maintenance on a few of our systems (we use them for digital signage) and noticed that all the ones I've touched today have lost audio. After some digging I found that the issue is Pulse Audio being installed via some package dependency; apparently on the Rpi Pulse conflicts with Alsa and audio stops working when they're both installed. Not 100% sure what package pulled in Pulse (kinda putting out fires trying to revert changes at the moment), but I'll look into it later. Just as a general FYI to anyone having random audio issues with an Rpi 2/3, check if Pulse is installed. Removing it and rebooting should fix the issue. Cheers, HDZ

Centos 7 - aarch64 gcc spec file bug

Libatomic and libgnat from gcc-4.8.5-4 appear not to be built on aarch64. How to file bug? See below from spec: Summary: Various compilers (C, C++, Objective-C, Java, ...) Name: gcc %if 0%{?rhel} == 7 %global gcc_version 4.8.2 %else %global gcc_version 4.8.5 %endif Version: 4.8.5 Release: %{gcc_release}%{?dist} ... ( Missing aarch64 ) v %ifarch %{ix86} x86_64 ppc ppc64 ppc64le ppc64p7 s390 s390x aarch64 %{arm} %global build_libatomic 1 I did a smoke test and was able to bootstrap both using f21 aarch64. Have the rpms if needed.

Query for update on armv7lh GUI release

Hi All, A newbie here. I am doing some testing on my RPi2 and my plan was to install Centos image on RPi2 board from http://mirror.centos.org/altarch/7/isos/armhfp After installation I realized it is only a CLI. Do we have any GUI option also. If any procedure need to be followed, please share. that would be a great help. In case the GUI support is still under the hood, please help with the tentative release date. sorry if I sound stupid somewhere :)

Ceph Jewel is now available for testing on AArch64

Thanks to the work of François Cami, we now have a build of Ceph's Jewel release available for testing on the AArch64 platform. Hi All, Kraxel has made a AArch64 CentOS 7 for RPI3 https://www.kraxel.org/blog/2016/08/two-new-images-uploaded/ I haven't tried it myself, but I am an extremealy happy user of the Fedora 24 AArch64 he(?) released, for what that is worth. best regards,Richard
