Why? uboot 2015.4 had some major improvements over 2015.02 (I'm really hoping it makes it into f22 final) kernel - well, I actually want 4.1.0 because it will have support for my pcDuino3 Nano ... but 4.0.0 is currently close enough.

I feel more strongly about uboot 2015.04 than I do about the kernel.

+1 on this from my side, if we can unify around a single kernel and not need to worry about the vendor supplied ( therefore unmaintained and in many cases, will never be maintained ) kernels. We might not be able to do this for all boards, but even if the number > 1 we are winning.
