4.5 ALB Bonding Hang on Shutdown

Since I upgraded from 4.4 to 4.5 my system which has 2 sets of ALB bonded interfaces hangs on shutdown while doing an ifdown on these interfaces. Has anyone else seen this issue with 4.5 and bonding? business ssl certs for centos www and/or email servers

Although I know the basics about getting and installing web and mail server ssl certs, I haven't had to "purchase" and do it "myself" for some time. i always had someone else dealing with it. I am wondering what you folks on the list are using on your centos web and mail servers :-) Are you making your own or are you purchasing them from godaddy, thawte, geotrust, verisign, others? What is the best and the least expensive implementation that most browsers and other clients are happy with without phone calls to admins or the NOC or other problems? xfs and yum update

Hello! Could you tell me why kernel-module-xfs is not updated when I run yum update, so I have to manually install module when kernel is updated. Is this my fault or not?

gmime-2.1.19 and mime decoding

Everyone, Please forgive me if this is the wrong place to ask this question, but would sure appreciate some direction if this list is the wrong place. Looks like Fedora 5 and 6 have gmime-2.1.19 as part of the distribution, but it is not present within CentOS 5 or with the extra repositories I would like to use some of the tools in this package to decode some mime e-mail attachments on a CentOS 5 system. If you can help me find gmime-2.1.19 for CentOS 5 or other ways to decode mime attachments I would appreciate your help. Thanks, Greg Ennis

SCSI device not detected after 4.5 update

After updating to Centos 4.5, I found that one of the LUNs on an external SCSI array wasn't being detected. If I add the device manually after boot echo "scsi add-single-device 0 0 1 1" > /proc/scsi/scsi it is detected. I can then use the LVM tools to activate it and then mount the LV on the device. It doesn't seem to be kernel related as I rebooted into a 4.4 kernel and the same thing happened. There's no error message I can see at boot, it just doesn't see the device. It's using a QLogic HBA but with the upstream module, not the out-of-tree QLogic one. It worked fine under 4.4. I suspect changes to dmsetup and/or multipath. Has anyone else seen something similar? I've kind of given up on RedHat after getting the "We don't support that", "I don't know", or "It's fixed in the next release" from RedHat `support'.
