centos5: Kopete and ICQ broken

Hi, Kopete does not show any contact in ICQ... Will there be fixes for this? Or do I have to wait for kde-redhat to support centos5? Thx Rainer

openmotif-devel 32 bit libs on x86_64

Hello All. I'm trying to compile some oracle stuff on Centos 4.4 x86_64 and I think I need 32-bit motif devels (getting some errors about incompatible libraries) Anyone know where I can get those? Screensaver flashing instead of normal function

I rebooted my machine this morning and now instead of running normally, my GLMatrix screen saver flashes as it repaints the screen, more and more noticeably as the screen fills up with glyphs. I didn't change ANYTHING and this was not happening before the boot. Anyone have any ideas why this might be? Thanks. I have been using atrpms repository with much success installing the latest NVIDIA drivers and other stable software, both in CentOS 5 and SL 4. smartd stalls the system on reboot

I have begun to notice that the smartd stalls my machine's boot process for as much as 2-3 minutes while it is coming up. I have the BIOS SMART function enabled, and I removed the bad SG400GB drive from the box yesterday, but I think this goes back farther than that. Why does it take so long? Is the BIOS SMART involved in this (and how)? Also, sendmail and sm-client take 30s-2m to come up as well (not always, but usually). Config: CentOS 4.4 Plus (2.6.9-42.0.10 kernel) AMD Athlon 64 x2 4200+ ECS NFORCE4M-A m/b 2GB OCZ DDR2 800 (PC6400) ram 160MB + 120MB Maxtor PATA drives (160 is the boot drive) 300GB Seagate SATA drive (/boot and / are here) geFORCE7100sg (nVidia) PCI-E x16 video card Minolta QMS PagePro 1100 laser printer on /dev/lp0 Thanks. CentOS 5 and Xen

I'm now running CentOS 5 with about 10 domU's. RH/CentOS did a great job providing a polished and stable distribution for Xen. Excellent work! I would like to now play with using iptables and ipvadm (LVS) in the domUs. So essentially, what I want to do is to utilize a domU to run as a NAT/Firewall which directs traffic to another domU running ipvsadm (LVS). The LVS would then redirect, based on the policy, traffic to the other domUs. Essentially, all traffic into the domU must passed through a domU acting as a firewall which then forwards
