Dear Nick, command i have used : rsync -av msync.centos.org::CentOS rsync -aqzH --delete --delay-updates msync.centos.org::CentOS/5.4/updates/x86_64/RPMS/openoffice.org-langpack-ve_ZA-2.3.0-6.11.el5_4.1.x86_64.rpm . Errors :- log updates using the specified FMT --password-file=FILE read daemon-access password from FILE --list-only list the files instead of copying them --bwlimit=KBPS limit I/O bandwidth; KBytes per second --write-batch=FILE write a batched update to FILE --only-write-batch=FILE like --write-batch but w/o updating destination --read-batch=FILE read a batched update from FILE --protocol=NUM force an older protocol version to be used --iconv=CONVERT_SPEC request charset conversionof filenames -4, --ipv4 prefer IPv4 -6, --ipv6 prefer IPv6 --version print version number (-h) --help show this help (-h works with no other options) Use "rsync --daemon --help" to see the daemon-mode command-line options. Please see the rsync(1) and rsyncd.conf(5) man pages for full documentation. See http://rsync.samba.org/ for updates, bug reports, and answers rsync error: syntax or usage error (code 1) at main.c(1407) [client=3.0.6] [1]+ Stopped watch rsync These are the errors which i have getting. question about the mirror list

Hi! I just checked our mirror in the mirror list at http://www.centos.org/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=31 and found that it says DVD:no. A bit surprised I checked, and it seems we do carry the dvd image for the latest release(s) but not for (some of) the older ones. Is this the reason the the "no"? Best regards, Emil

Dear CentOS, I have planned to contribute a public mirror for centos . Regarding that i have tried rsync as per the document you have launched on your site. But it throws a error for me . In my server i have a rsync version 3.0.6 .
