We are a tech company with global presence of web servers and would love to contribute by becoming an official CentOS mirror. We've deployed mirrors.evowise.com within our own CDN. These are the specs that we are using:
CPU : 2 X Intel Xeon E5-2630 v3 64 Gb Ram 22T usable space (raid5)
This mirror is sync'd over our CDN: Bucharest, Romania London, UK Italy, Milan Spain, Madrid US, LA US, New York
We would like to list: http://mirrors.evowise.com/centos/ ...mirrors.evowise.com is on an anycast network and it has <50 ms ping from most global locations using those backend CDN locations.
Thanks,
Hayden James

Hi,
So trying to understand the request/proposal : do you want us to only list your node for .us ? a geoip lookup seems to always redirect to Romania (tested from .us too) Or do you want us to list that server only for Romania ?
Hi Fabian,
The ip provided is an Anycast ip. So the ip you are looking up will route locally in the country you are testing it from. (As per attached)
...we would like to list mirrors.evowise.com and authorize 89.44.100.220

Sorry, was busy with various infra things (including the ipv6 change) but it's now done : it has been added to the mirrors DB and will normally be listed as a public mirror (and on http://mirror-status.centos.org / http://centos.org/download/mirrors/ ) in the following minutes/hours. Your IP has been whitelisted (check that it's working in the following hour)
Kind Regards,
