Epel pkgs for armhfp

It's a question we receive a lot (not only this list, but also on irc, or even mails and direct discussions) but the actual status isn't really clear. It seems that something is slowly going on but hardware availability and other things have to be solved first at the epel side. (see for example this blog post about other arches in epel, and centos : http://smoogespace.blogspot.be/2016/02/epel-proposal-4-build-it-all-in-cent…) So, as some of us still need those packages, I've just created an epel-pass-1 plague target, and I just started to rebuild some of the packages. The primary goal is at least to show that it can be done, and also to help actual users who need those packages. (and all of us rebuilding the same SRPM[s] on our side is a waste of time) I haven't submitted the whole EPEL source pkgs list to the builders, but just some pkgs that I thought most people would be interested in . Pkgs (unsigned/untested) will appear here : http://armv7.dev.centos.org/repodir/epel-pass-1/ While build/root logs will appear (as usual) here : http://armv7.dev.centos.org/rpmbuild/epel-pass-1/ Willing to test ? Hello, My name is Enrique and I'm from Madrid (Spain). My question is: has anyone setup CentOS on a RPi 2 with a light desktop (LDXE, Mate, ...)? Any advice? :) I have experience with CentOS buy I've always worked with servers. Command line only. Thank you.

Issue with CentOS Networking on RPi-2

Hi There, I have a 8GB SD card that has centos latest arm release on it. OS fails to get a DHCP IP. ifconfig shows that eth exists and dropping packets and no IP. Contents of /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 are as following: TYPE=Ethernet BOOTPROTO=dhcp NM_CONTROLLED=yes DEFROUTE=yes NAME=eth0 ONBOOT=yes Ifdown and ifup are not working either. [root@rpi2 ~]#ifdown eth0 ERROR : [ipv6_test_device_status] Missing parameter 'device' (arg 1) /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifdown-post: line 52: 1183 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/firewall-cmd -remove-interface="${DEVICE}" > /dev/null 2>&1 [root@rpi2 ~]#ifup eth0 Error: Connection activation failed. System boots up fine with following errors: Error Starting Security Auditing Service Failed to start Root Filesystem Auto-Resizer I see following in /var/log/messages: Sshd.service failed Polkit.service failed Any help is appreciated.
