[Arm-dev] best kernel for armv7hl ?

Hi,

As Jim used kernel 4.0.0-1 for the aarch64 (alpha) build (announced today), I was wondering what would be the best kernel to use/target for armv7hl. Is patching the el7 kernel the way to go, or do we prefer/want to use the same one everywhere if possible (so also using 4.0.0-1, and tracking the aarch64 version).
