Hi all developers,
I'm currently considering to use Raspberry Pi 3 as a print server running CentOS 7. However I found that there is not cups rpm package available in any repo. I saw only client, filters and libs.
Don't you know when cups rpm package might be available?
Thanks for your answers.

Well, thanks to Henrik, we had a closer look at the repoclosure for those pkgs : almost everything was built (and so in the unsigned repositories available at http://armv7.dev.centos.org/repodir/) , except one pkg, but now done, so the following pkgs will appear in the updates repo soon (when they'll be processed/signed) :
cups-1.6.3-22.el7.armv7hl.rpm: sha1 md5 OK cups-filesystem-1.6.3-22.el7.noarch.rpm: sha1 md5 OK cups-filters-1.0.35-21.el7.armv7hl.rpm: sha1 md5 OK ghostscript-cups-9.07-18.el7.armv7hl.rpm: sha1 md5 OK poppler-utils-0.26.5-5.el7.armv7hl.rpm: sha1 md5 OK liberation-fonts-common-1.07.2-15.el7.noarch.rpm: rsa sha1 (md5) pgp md5 OK liberation-mono-fonts-1.07.2-15.el7.noarch.rpm: rsa sha1 (md5) pgp md5 OK liberation-narrow-fonts-1.07.2-15.el7.noarch.rpm: rsa sha1 (md5) pgp md5 OK liberation-sans-fonts-1.07.2-15.el7.noarch.rpm: rsa sha1 (md5) pgp md5 OK liberation-serif-fonts-1.07.2-15.el7.noarch.rpm: rsa sha1 (md5) pgp md5 OK
That should then allow someone to "yum install cups"
Cheers,
Hi Fabian,
great, many thanks for good news. I will definitely give it a try. If it's available tomorrow, I will report my findings.
Many thanks again for your effort and help! I appreciate it.

Hi Fabian,
I wasn't able to test cups through standard install via yum since the package is still not available under official location http://mirror.centos.org/altarch/7/os/armhfp/Packages/ Don't you know how quickly new packages will be signed and available under updatesrepo? Should they be stored under http://mirror.centos.org/altarch/7/updates/armhfp/Packages/ ?
I will probably try to use the packages from the unsigned repo anyway.
Thanks, Jan

typically, the sign process runs once a day Mon to Thu, unless there is a security issue.

Many thanks Karanbir for the info. Now it's clear why the package was not signed over the weekend :-)
I will give it a try tonight or tomorrow. Thanks again for great support and all your effort !

Hi all,
I tested today cups package and installation of the package as well as configuration via CUPS web portal works fine on RPi3.
However I noticed that HPLIP is not available in os or updates repos. However these are available at c7-pass-1 location. Would it be possible to sign also next packages to get them to updates repo?
hpijs-3.13.7-6.el7.armv7hl.rpm 2015-07-20 04:09 4.7M hplip-3.13.7-6.el7.armv7hl.rpm 2015-07-20 04:09 6.0M hplip-debuginfo-3.13.7-6.el7.armv7hl.rpm 2015-07-20 04:09 1.8M hplip-gui-3.13.7-6.el7.armv7hl.rpm 2015-07-20 04:09 1.4M libsane-hpaio-3.13.7-6.el7.armv7hl.rpm 2015-07-20 04:09 100K
Next two packages are available for install: hplip-common-3.13.7-6.el7.armv7hl.rpm 2015-07-20 04:09 83K hplip-libs-3.13.7-6.el7.armv7hl.rpm 2015-07-20 04:09 153K
Many thanks, Jan

Hi Jan,
Thanks a lot for that info. I've now pushed those packages in the signing queue (with the updated openssh packages too)
Cheers,
