Hi,
As a FYI, the pftf https://rpi4-uefi.dev/ is attempting to build a SBBR complaint firmware based on the SBSA complaint parts of the rpi4.
What this means, is that recent versions of the firmware can boot/install the centos 8 default ISO images out of the box. There are a number of limitations, including that the centos kernel doesn't yet have the network/ACPI patches in place for the platform. But, given a USB3/SSD & USB3/NIC, it is a fairly painless process to install and use.
The 3G limit & ACPI firmware options should be selected. Once that is done it can be booted/installed either via the graphical console (+usb keyboard/mouse on the USB3 ports), or on the serial ports depending on firmware settings.
