Hello,
We've created a Quay organisation for the SIG: https://quay.io/organization/centos-sig-automotive to store/host SIG container images.
Would it be possible to create a repository to store container images files as well?
That repository would host container files for several images, leveraging Quay's CI features as well.
Regards,

Not particularly, maybe something like "container-images"?

Piggy paging on this thread. Could you please create a platform-engineering group? It is needed for the renovate-runner repo and probably additional related ones. The container-images repo will be the first renovated repo.
Thanks, Liora

I'm not sure I'm following what you want to do. Could you give us some more context?

Hi Liora,
I'm not sure I'm following what you want to do. Could you give us some more context?
Sure. Renovate [1] is an open source tool for automating dependencies updates. @Leonardo Rossetti lrossett@redhat.com and I agreed onboarding the container-images repo which can save manual work for him. It requires setting up a self-hosted renovate runner. Hence renovate-runner repo and maybe additional repos if a custom renovate image would be required. On top of that, the `platform-engineering-bot` user should be added as a member so that it can generate the MRs in the renovated repo.
LMK if you need additional clarification. We can also hop on a call if that can help.
Best, Liora

So the project has been created: https://gitlab.com/CentOS/automotive/renovate-runner I've granted you access to it via a new group on accounts.centos.org (we can easily add more people there), you'll need to visit https://id.centos.org/gitlab for this new group membership to sync to gitlab.
I've also added the `platform-engineering-bot` user with `developer` level access.
Does this all work for you?
