Raid issue

I am curious about something. I have a friend that made a software raid 1 partition across a 250 gig 7200 rpm drive and an 80 gig 7200 rpm hard disk drive. he shut the system down normally to clean it out and when it came back up he gets the following: a superblock on /dev/md0 failed would mdadm --assemble --force fix it or lead to more damage? -- My "Foundation" verse: Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. Extracting ISO Images-How?

Hi All, I am looking at extracting UBCD ISO and installing modules via Insert to use some extra tools when cloning a CentOS install. How is this done via cli? I did a google search, but nothing seems clear to me at the moment. Could someone point me in the right direction? Cheers. Mark Sargent.

problem apache proxy reverse

hello: i have centos 4.0 whits apache httpd-2.0.52-22.ent.centos4, this is configured like a reverse proxy, but i have a problem only the first site name on the httpd.conf work when i do a peticion from internet for all the rest servers only respond the firts. <VirtualHost *> ServerName dir_ip ProxyPass / http://ejemplo1.test.com/ ProxyPassReverse / http://ejemplo1.test.com/ </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost *> ServerName dir_ip2 ProxyPass / http://ejemplo2.test.com/ ProxyPassReverse / http://ejemplo2.test.com/ </VirtualHost> <VirtualHost *> ServerName dir_ip3 ProxyPass / http://ejemplo3.test.com/ ProxyPassReverse / http://ejemplo3.test.com/ </VirtualHost> DNS is fine becouse from internet all peticion coming to the apache server, but this dont forwarding the second petition. Setting Abbreviatons In .exrc Problems

Hi All, I'm trying to get vi to display an ab like so, ab htm <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> \<html> \<head> \<meta content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" http-equiv="content-type"> \<title>NewUser</title> \</head> \<body> \</body> \</html> but, when I input the text htm and press the spacebar, I get the following, <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"><html><head><meta content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" http-equiv="content-type"><title>NewUser</title></head><body></body></html> not the desired result.
