I didn't see it at the above URL.... Thanks.

What is/provides php-pear(PEAR)

I am running up against a less than helpful error message when trying to install php-pear-DB (why people cannot content themselves with all lowercase packages names escapes me, but that is a rant for another time and place). Can't mount USB drives

Fresh install of CentOS 4.4. uname -a, lspci, & lsusb output at bottom. I insert my 256MB USB key, light goes on, then off. Never mounts. Problems with yumex after update

Hi Folks, I've upated yesterday yumex (and other programms). But now I get an error message when starting yumes and yumex stopped. Message: [root@main tk]# yumex Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/yumex/yumexmain.py", line 36, in ? from yumex.yum24XBase import * File "yum24XBase.py", line 26, in ? ImportError: No module named repomd Any hints? Is repomd a python module? And if so - where can I get it? Thx Timothy

Initialization scripts

I'm trying to create an initialization scrip in the /etc/init.d/. Of course, the one I have is failing! At the top of the other initialization scripts in the same directory, there is are two lines, the chkconfig and description # chkconfig: 2345 55 25 # description: OpenSSH server daemon On the check config line, what are the numbers/attributes that follow? If I'm creating an initialization script, what numbers/considerations should I make? Thanks, Todd
