Centos 4.4 ISO or DVD download

Routing issue - Revisited

A number of weeks ago I had huge help from many of you configuring routing on a server with multiple Internet facing nics. Thanks for all of your help!!!! I am still having a routing issue that I am hoping someone can help me tweek. This server, besides acting as our gateway to the internet, is also our web and email server. The server has 4 nics. Two are connected to the internet and the other two route traffic to internal subnets. Our network topography in question looks like this: Internet - Gateway Server - 192.168.4 subnet - Internal Server - 192.168.6 subnet - Clients The problem that I am experiencing is that part of our internal network, the 192.168.6 subnet cannot view our website that is hosted on our Gateway server. Our Internal Server can access the site but the Clients simply time out looking for it. If I point the Client to the internal address of the Gateway Server I can pull up the site but if I use the URL the browser times out. Recent HPLIP: where's that doc?

Hi, The HPLIP package included in CentOS 5 is one of those packages that lags almost pathologically behind. Now I remember having seen some *official* (HP) documentation describing the procedure to follow to install the *latest* HPLIP on CentOS 5. As far as I can remember, there were even some RHEL5 RPMS on that site. But I can't seem to find that page anymore. Anyone remembers it? Niki Kovacs

I'm also under proxy server and yum work like ... charm. You can find manual in http://www.centos.org/docs/4/html/yum/sn-yum-proxy-server.html. I'm usualy edit /etc/yum.conf and put there #proxy adress:port - take care of / proxy=http://proxy.somedomain.si:80/ #proxy username and passwd proxy_username= proxy_password= Have a nice day. Samba error

kickstart install using url location

Hi, I am working on a kickstart install method and it works fine with cdrom as installation media. I would like change this media to an online resource. I saw option as - 'url --url http://<server>/<dir>'. I am not sure what should be the directory contents? Should we put all ISOs in that directory or what? Any insights? Thanks, CS.

Centos 5 samba with AD integration and XFS with extended ACLs

Hello all, Firstly, I have checked on google, and there are indeed howtos on this subject. Have any of you done this or something similar on CentOS? If so, could you send me the configs maybe? How can I find out if the centos version of samba supports extended ACLs? I ran a modinfo xfs, and XFS supports it. I want to set up a samba server that authenticated to AD. I have that up and running, only the extended ACLs still to do. Thanks in advance, Coert
