Hi I use to leave my PC turned on for a long time, but ultimately I've found it blocked. The mouse just don't work and the keyboard leds are blinking and there is no HD activity. I'd like to know which log should I check, to find the problem or what should I do. Error on starting apache server

I get the following error when starting the apache2 server, any ideas. ./httpd: error while loading shared libraries: libpq.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory [root@localhost sbin]#

Change of server

Hello friends, I have a question for you, my server is in 4.4 (centos) and it is a Pentium III of 500 MHZ, it's a compaq proliant, now I want to change the dark disc of it to other, which is HP Pentium IV, is it possible that the change of server can be recognized by the Linux or I would have problems at the moment of it is started in the new server? Hello mail list Forgive me if i doble post, coz my first attetemt didnt go through Im trying to include a new selection in "Installation type" in the anaconda installer when installing Centos 4.3 I have successfull made a inclution of "my" rpms when installing the OS, by modifying the the base group in the file comps.xml But what im trying to do is make a new selection in the Installation window [where you choose Server, desktop, custom..] I need some guidance about this topic, any help would be appriciated Tronn

I just installed Centos (version 4.4) and wondering how I can change things so I don't have to login. I am aware of the security implications for doing this but I would prefer this if I can do it. PREROUTING - DNAT with iptables for an ASTERISK BOX

Hi, I am running a ASTERISK BOX behind a firewall. It is at DMZ . Now I want to connect to my ASTERISK BOX from Internet. So I want to DNAT. How can I do it? Pls assume that ip address that connects to Internet on firewall is 1.2.3.4and is attached to eth0. And ASTERISK BOX is 192.168.101.23 Then, What is the rule (PREROUTING) for it? What is the port to DNAT? I think udp 5060. So I have added below 2 rules . But it does not work at all. iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p udp -i eth0 -d 1.2.3.4 --dport 5060 -j DNAT --to-destination 192.168.101.23:5060 iptables -A FORWARD -p udp -d 192.168.101.23 --dport 5060 -j ACCEPT Can you help me to solve this issue? -- Thank you Indunil Jayasooriya

I am trying to get my latest installation of Centos (4.4) to see videos when I am in www.cnn.com. I installed mplayer using yum and that went well. But I still get the screen from microsoft saying I need to install their plugin.. What more can I do to get these videos to work when I use either mozilla or konqueror.. Thanks..

Centos 4.4 and impromptu reboot

we've 5 srv pentium III - 512 Mo with centos 4.4, everything was ok with c4.3, but since 4.4, 2 of them reboot immediatly when we do a yum update or when backup occurs accross network with scp ?
