Since we're going to start fielding off topic questions to waste everyone's time on a focused list, can you tell me why my foot hurts? I mean, I was just using it normally, like a foot. But now it hurts. Could it be cancer? Fungus? Maybe we can turn CentOS into a foot pain site and extend off topic threads instead of just letting them die after short and quick re-educations that anyone subscribing to a mailing list should be aware of by now. Maybe if all of you tarts who are in such an uproar about this used your time to contribute anything substantial, or anything at all (Luke, Nenad, John), you would have something. Since all of you are just consumers and none of you actually participate in any way other than to complain that someone was "rude", STFU. Useless use of AllowOverride

Hello, While i m trying to start my apache server i am getting following error. [Wed Apr 14 01:47:58 2010] [warn] Useless use of AllowOverride in line 31 of /home/tomcat/conf/mod_jk.conf. [Wed Apr 14 01:47:58 2010] [warn] Useless use of AllowOverride in line 36 of /home/tomcat/conf/mod_jk.conf. Please let me know if you have any solution regarding this. Thanks & Regards Manoj

date problem on my virtual centos server

I have a Centos server 5.4 64 bits with xen server, and It has 6 virtual servers, windows 2003 and centos 5.4 64bits. One of my servers have a special problem with the time. It is a centos server 5.4 64 bits, with apache, and mysql and dokuwiki running. When somebody update the content in the wiki apps, it take the time of the server and always the time is forward than the real time, for example right now the time of that centos server is and hour more than the current time. I was changing manually the time, and also I update the packages to fix any possible bug, but I still have the same problem. I checked the time on the host server and it has the current time and my other, Have you ever had the same problem? Thanks in advance for your answers -- John S. Berrocal

Did you try taking a snapshot of the LV and mucking around with the xen configuration to see if anything changes? Did you update anything else on the machine, like perhaps the BIOS? kickstart + domU for static IP

I've set up a local webserver to store kickstart files for domUs. All parameters are respected apart from the network settings. DomU always gets DHCP. Can any one help to unwrap this one? CentOS and Xen 3.0.3

Hi I install CentOS 5.4 and try to use Xen.... But when I deploy some VM with Virt-manager and specify 2 or more VCPUS to use, when start the vm it start with just one CPU... On this VM I install Windows 2003 Server... How to change to allocated file space in Xen?

When I create a new VPS, I choose not to Allocated Disk space for the file-size. Now I need to make my VPS to allocated the file-space, is it possible?
