hi, kvm-qemu-ev from virt7-kvm-common-release is now signed and available on buildlogs.centos.org for testing, the corresponding release file is available in the centos/7/extras/ location on buildlogs as well. Once we have some testing, we can push and announce via mirror.centos.org for wider adoption. Libvirt enhancement requests

Hi folks, I know you're rebuilding livbirt for the SIG. Would it be possible to enable RBD support in it? I know quite a few cases (in the Cloudstack community) that switched to Ubuntu particularly because CEPH support was missing. The recommendation is to rebuild the rpms, but this is not a viable thing for everyone. E.g. http://blog.widodh.nl/2015/04/rebuilding-libvirt-under-centos-7-1-with-rbd-… Another thing that I noticed on the CentOS ml recently is an alleged lack of hooks, https://www.libvirt.org/hooks.html And last but not least, where could I find the libvirt (s)rpms that the SIG produces? Differences between qemu-kvm and qemu-kvm-ev

Hi all, What are the real technical difference between qemu-kvm and qemu-kvm-ev packages? What are the advantages to use qemu-kvm-ev (if exists someone)? Or qemu-kvm-ev makes sense when is used with ovirt only?? Thanks.

Megacli issue with Xen PERC 5/i Poweredge 2950 II

I am having an issue with Megacli when adding or removing virtual disks. I will post a link to fpaste that has the issue shown. In brief whenever i add, or remove, a virtual disk via MegaCli the attempt succeeds and the adapter is configured but the OS remounts dm-0 in read only. dm-0 is my root lv. This issue does not happen if i boot into the default, non Xen, CentOS kernel. On stock CentOS kernel i can add and remove VD's all day without any issue at all. ONLY happens while booted up with the Xen kernel. I have been racking my brain trying to figure this out. Any help is appreciated. hi, ovirt-3.5-release content is now signed and available on buildlogs, the corresponding -release file is on buildlogs.centos.org as well, in the centos/7/extras/ repos ( so as to reflect final release location on mirror.centos.org ).
