Does official oVirt releases works under CentOS 6.x??

Hi all, I would like to install oVirt under centos 6.4 to manage my 5 kvm hosts (centos based also), but all info that I have found it is bit confused. Does official oVirt releases works under CentOS 6.x or not for the node and the management server?? Or only official release for CentOS is http://dev.centos.org/centos/6/ovirt/ (a really bit older)?? .. Thanks.

And it would be nice if it could read your mind and give you a foot massage, too. Same thing happens if you install both java-1.6.0-openjdk and jdk-1.7.0 packages at the same time, the system guesses that whichever one you installed last should be default. Delete the non "kernel-xen" kernels, and you should be good to go. for future updates. I ran "yum update" the other day on my dom0 and let it pull a new kernel. The RPM install scriptlet runs /sbin/new-kernel-pkg (part of the grubby package) to update grub.conf. It writes a new record to boot the Linux kernel instead of Xen. It would be nice if it noticed that it was running inside Xen and wrote a suitable record for that.

New 3.10.18 Kernel for Xen4 needs testing

For anyone who is using our Xen4CentOS6 repo, we have created a new kernel from the new LTS 3.10.x kernel tree (to upgrade the current 3.4.x xen kernel) that we hope to roll into the production repo. Please look here and test the kernel, libvirt, and xen files there: http://dev.centos.org/centos/6/xen-c6-RC1/ That repo should be able to be used for testing or it should be able to update a current xen4centos6 repo as well ... the packages are signed by the testing key and I am currently using them, but YMMV, so be careful. Please also provide feedback (both positive and negative) so we can move these into production. NOTE: after installing a new kernel, please run "/usr/bin/grub-bootxen.sh" ... OR ... manually edit your "/boot/grub/grub.conf" file to boot the new kernel on your dom0 machine. Thanks, Johnny Hughes

Hi all, How can I avoid sharing interrupts in a kvm guest? I have installed a debian 7 guest in a centos 6.4 host with 5 virtio vnics and 2 virtio disks and irq11 is used by eth2, eth3, eth4 and irq10 eth0, eth1 ... Is it possible to avoid this situation?? USB redirection under CentOS 6.4

Hi all, Does usb redirection works?? I am trying to assign to a Win7 kvm guest an usb HP printer without luck ... My second attempt is to use usb redirection, but according to Redhat's docs, this option is only available for windows using RHEV ... Is this correct??
