Windows 98 with Xen?

Anyone successful at installing Windows 98 on Xen in CentOS5? I get an error about Windows 98 not being able to find a compatible CD drive. I use an .ISO image as the CD.

I know I would be. here i mean that packaging kvm for fedora/redhat/centos using gcc-4.x in stead of gcc-3.x. if currently there is no reason to use gcc-3.x than i change all of my spec file. ps. anyway it's planed to be temporary or permanent to use a qemu fork for kvm and not try to propagate changes back to the upstream qemu? -- Levente "Si vis pacem para bellum!"

kvm in testing

hi, in testing the kvm version is kvm-kmod-36-2.2.6.18_8.1.1.el5.src.rpm shouldn't it be 36-2.2.6.18_8.1.10 or at least 36-2.2.6.18_8.1.8? it has reason or just a bug? thanks. -- Levente "Si vis pacem para bellum!"

Hi all, KVM-36 is now in testing. Since KVM-37 has added new functionality (pic/lapic/ioapic) that could introduce regressions, this is the release that we will stick to (testing, extra if there are no serious regressions compared to kvm-35) for a while. Take care, Daniel

Xen VMs on GFS

Hello list I've installed cluster suite with 8 physical nodes, these are connected to a SAN using CLVM and AOE protocol. The cluster suite runs on the physical nodes/servers, in dom0. If I have to use GFS, where do I install this? What is the right approach to using GFS with Xen. I see 2 options: 1. I install GFS inside each domU (unprivileged domain, the actual VM). 2. I install GFS on CLVM volumes on dom0 and mount these partitions with domUs. Which of these options are possible ? Or maybe I have to ask, how do you do it ? :) Thanks Lars

hi, for those of you who can't wait for the centos testing rpms i recompile a few packages for centos-5: https://www.lfarkas.org/linux/packages/centos/5/ there's no support for it and the centos repositories are always better then these packages:-) -- Levente "Si vis pacem para bellum!"
