time stray on the latest centos release: 2.6.9-11.EL

Hi, The clock on my laptop seems to be straying dramatically from the real time even if I turn off ntpd. Could it be the clock applet itself? After I run rdate with ntpd off, it starts to stray right away. This started in the last two weeks after doing many updates. Has anyone else seen this, or even fixed it? Thanks in advance, Blair.

CentOS 4 and Intel D965 motherboards

Does anyone on the list have a magic ball that could tell when support for the D965-based motherboards will come to CentOS 4 (i386)? I've got a DG965RYCK that fails a CentOS 4.4 install early on (problems scanning the PCI bus). Fedora Core 6 installs just fine. If anyone has any information, or magic boot parameters to try, please let me know. ("Works for me" is OK too). Thanks much. Dave Thompson UW-Madison

Updated PHP packages are now in the c4-testing repository

There are updated packages for php version 5.1.6-1.2 in the c4-testing repository available at dev.centos.org for i386 and x86_64 arches. Also included is an update to php-pear. This update should also resolve the direct install issue experienced by some where php-pear conflicted with the package in the base repository. Please test these and report any issues you might have, as these will hopefully be the upgrade path for php5 in centosplus.
