C5.6 missing package updates / package naming issues

Hi, first I'd like to thank you for finally provinding C5.6! After updating several servers to C5.6 I checked the installed RPMS against the list of update announcements from upstream. Running test-scripts with minimal kickstart

Hello, As noted by Fabian and Karanbir (at least what I've understand), the packages needed by the tests should be installed outside the kickstart. So I've attached an install script for each tested services. Now tests can be launched with simple 'for' loop, my directory structure looks like (I used 0-install_[SERVICE].sh and [SERVICE]_test_name.sh convention): 0-install_dovecot.sh 0-install_httpd.sh 0-install_mysqld.sh 0-install_postfix.sh 0-install_sshd.sh 0-install_vsftpd.sh dovecot_imap_login.sh dovecot_pop3_login.sh httpd_php.sh httpd_servehtml.sh httpd_vhost.sh mysqld_conn_test.sh mysqld_create_db.sh mysqld_drop_db.sh postfix_smtp.sh sshd_conn_test.sh sshd_user_login.py vsftpd_anonymous_login.sh Best regards. -- Athmane Madjoudj RHCE

[QA] Test-scripts for SSH and MySQL

Hello, I've attached 4 test-scripts: Two are for testing MySQL basic DB operations (I've supposed that MySQL root password is empty which is default in fresh install). The other are for SSH, one for testing SSH connectivity, the other (written in Python) create a new user and try to login with SSH. Best regards. -- Athmane Madjoudj RHCE

Metadata for csgfs outdated

It seems like the metadata for 4.8/csgfs is outdated. There's a GFS-kernel-2.6.9-85.2.el4_8.10.x86_64.rpm in the repo, but it is not in the xml metadata... Regards, Andreas -- Solvention Ltd. & Co.
