What name would be acceptable for Desktop version of CentOS?

Dear developers of CentOS, I plan to create/start Desktop version/fork/respin of CentOS, practically just to add useful packages, modified repository with prioritized third-party repositories, maybe few tweaks, and built ISO and repositories, so we are not limited to messing with manually adding third-party repositories and dealing with dependency problems. Basic repositories will remain from CentOS project. I plan to latter on ask about endorsement, maybe even hosting/mirroring project or even running it under the CentOS project flag. I will have to formulate my goals for the project and see how it resonates with you, developers of CentOS. For the time being, to keep the ball rolling, I have question about the name that you find acceptable (even in the case that I can not find common ground with CentOS project and it remains on the sidelines): 1. CentDOS (Community Enterprize Desktop Operating System) 2. DentOS (Desktop Enterprize Operating System) 3. CentOS-DE (Community Enterprize Operating System - Desktop Edition) 4. Any new suggestion? mirror setup/layout

Hi list I'm mirroring some centos trees for my site. I've seen that currently the (for example) 6 directory links to the 6.2 directory. How about reversing that: let 6 always contain the latest and let 6.2 (latest) link to the 6 (base)? There is at least the advantage (for me) that I only have to rsync a single tree (base). Also I think it's much clearer :-) -- Ferry Huberts

missing debuginfo packages

Hello Several debuginfo packages ( at least db4-4.7.25-16.el6.x86_64 expat-2.0.1-9.1.el6.x86_64 libselinux-2.0.94-5.2.el6.x86_64 libuuid-2.17.2-12.4.el6.x86_64 nss-softokn-freebl-3.12.9-11.el6.x86_64 pcre-7.8-3.1.el6.x86_64 but probably more ) are missing from http://debuginfo.c.o Can you please fix that? A bug in either httpd or phpmyadmin lead to a SIG11 which is harder to debug without the proper debug information. Thank you wolfy

custom iso spin

I see the small ISO images but I would like to build something custom but not a live image. What tools do you use to create these images? Is there some documentation on building a custom iso spin? I would also like to be able to drive the tools.
