What Gluster versions would you like to see in the CentOS Storage SIG?

Hi Gluster users running on CentOS! As you may have heard before, we're planning on providing stable Gluster releases and related packages through the CentOS Storage SIG [0]. We would like to know what version of Gluster and which versions of CentOS are most wanted by our users. The current support for Gluster defines 3 stable releases at the time. This means that 3.7, 3.6 and 3.5 are supported by the Gluster Community. Once 3.8 is released, 3.5 will become unsupported and will not receive any updates anymore. 3.8 is planned to be released early 2016 [1]. We can provide all Gluster packages for CentOS-7 and 6, but CentOS-5 can only get recent versions of the Gluster client. Now, we want to know which combinations our users like to see in the CentOS Storage SIG: - CentOS-7 + GlusterFS 3.7: latest and greatest, will be included - CentOS-6 + GlusterFS 3.7: very much used release, also included - CentOS-7 + GlusterFS 3.6: some users, you? - CentOS-6 + GlusterFS 3.6: some users, you? - CentOS-7 + GlusterFS 3.5: fewer users, you? - CentOS-6 + GlusterFS 3.5: fewer users, you? - CentOS-5 + GlusterFS 3.7 (client only): nobody? - CentOS-5 + GlusterFS 3.6: nobody? - CentOS-5 + GlusterFS 3.5: nobody? Need a valid SCM for building (non-scratch) Vagrant images in CBS

Hi, I am getting following error while doing a non scratch build [2] for ADB vagrant box. The build command needs a "--ksurl" [1] but it does not accept github as an url. Error: "GenericError: Invalid SCM URL: https://github.com/projectatomic/adb-atomic-developer-bundle/blob/master/bu…" <https://cbs.centos.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=58780> Any idea how to solve this issue. CentOS Atomic Host Updated

Today we're announcing an update to CentOS Atomic Host (version 7.20151118), a lean operating system designed to run Docker containers, built from standard CentOS 7 RPMs, and tracking the component versions included in Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic Host. Please note that this release is based on content derived from the upstream 7.1 release. CentOS Atomic Host is available as a VirtualBox or libvirt-formatted Vagrant box, or as an installable ISO, qcow2 or Amazon Machine image. These images are available for download at cloud.centos.org(http://cloud.centos.org/centos/7/atomic/images/). The backing ostree repo is published to mirror.centos.org(http://mirror.centos.org/centos/7/atomic/x86_64/repo). Request to join the Cloud Instance SIG for Microsoft Azure

Hi All: As requested, I would like to introduce myself as a representative of Microsoft Azure and request membership in the CentOS Cloud Instance SIG. My formal goal in joining this group is of course to bring community-supported and high-quality CentOS images to Microsoft Azure. At Microsoft I drive the technical collaboration with many of the various Linux distributions that exist in the Azure Gallery - which includes numerous efforts around image creation, testing and support of these images on Azure. I hope to do the same with the CentOS community. My group is also responsible for a few other key components that will be important for this effort, such as the device drivers for Hyper-V/Azure (which already ship with the CentOS kernel), the Azure Linux agent and various others. We work closely with the upstream developers to ensure customers have a great experience running CentOS in Hyper-V/Azure virtualized environments. Having official CentOS images I think will allow us to build and continue to improve on those efforts. Looking forward to working with you all. Please let me know if I should provide more details. Query regarding contributing RPMs to CentOS Repo

Hi Team, Recently , we found that there is no official Linux kernel RPM (version 3.18.22) for CentOS 7 . We have created our own spec file and created RPM for the same . We would like to contribute it to CentOS Repo. Could someone please let me know , how I can proceed to contribute.
