Vagrant CentOS 6 Boxes

I tried it out. After a vagrant up I found the host directory seemed to be mounted in /home/vagrant/sync This is slightly counter to what most vagrant boxes do though where the hosts folder is found at /vagrant How are you building these? I've built CentOS6 and CentOS7 boxes before by hand but I'm wondering what your doing to automate them with CBS. Packer?

Please test experimental CentOS 6 images for Vagrant

OpenShift Origin Docker files

Hi, I just converted all the origin/images Dockerfiles to be rpm based, instead of "build the binaries before you start" based. These are in my fork of origin, in the 2016-centos-images branch. https://github.com/tdawson/origin/tree/2016-centos-images/images You will notice both Dockerfile, Dockerfile.original, and Dockerfile.centos. Dockerfile and Dockerfile.centos should be the same. Dockerfile.original is the original Dockerfile from OpenShift Origin. Scripted build of a dockerfile (and run it)

Troy wanted to see a copy of my Dockerfile builder. I've sanitized it a little so it may not run exactly, but the concept is close enough. The goal was to take one of our tools, and test it in an isolated environment. We couldn't use virtualenv even though it was all python, due to the fact that we were modifying 4 different os releases. Cheers, herlo

automating the epel downstreams for cbs

hi, We've now got quite a few downstream rpms from EPEL being built and managed in CBS. And it might be worth restarting the conversation around automating part of the relationship. As a cbs consumer, what makes the most sense ? 1) We fork EPEL completely, for all arch's into CBS, and just build everything into a target at cbs, and let folks pick and tag into their own targets as they see fit. 2) we setup a way to monitor EPEL changes, and notify folks who built a package in cbs, that now has a newer version or an update in EPEL. this can ( might need to ? ) be email based for now. CentOS OpenShift Origin - Preparing for signed / release repo

The CentOS PaaS SIG has released OpenShift Origin 1.1.6, and it's dependencies, to a CentOS testing repo. http://buildlogs.centos.org/centos/7/paas/x86_64/openshift-origin/ If you would like a pre-done repo file, it is here. https://tdawson.fedorapeople.org/centos/CentOS-OpenShift-Origin.repo We would appreciate it if people tested this before we sign the packages and push them out to a released repo. Please let us know if your tests worked, or did not. We would like it even more if you were able to give us specific tests we might be able to run so that we can feel confident that we are releasing non-broken packages.
