CentOS Atomic Host 7.1804 Available for Download

The CentOS Atomic SIG has released an updated version (https://wiki.centos.org/SpecialInterestGroup/Atomic/Download) of CentOS Atomic Host (7.1804), a lean operating system designed to run Linux containers, built from standard CentOS 7 RPMs, and tracking the component versions included in Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic Host. This release, which is based on the RHEL 7.5 source code, now ships without any baked-in Kubernetes rpms, which makes it simpler for users to layer their preferred Kubernetes or OpenShift packages onto the host. CentOS Atomic Host includes these core component versions: atomic-1.22.1-3.git2fd0860.el7.x86_64 cloud-init-0.7.9-24.el7.centos.x86_64 docker-1.13.1-63.git94f4240.el7.centos.x86_64 etcd-3.2.18-1.el7.x86_64 flannel-0.7.1-3.el7.x86_64 kernel-3.10.0-862.2.3.el7.x86_64 ostree-2018.1-4.el7.x86_64 rpm-ostree-client-2018.1-1.atomic.el7.x86_64 Download CentOS Atomic Host CentOS Atomic Host is available as a VirtualBox or libvirt-formatted Vagrant box, or as an installable ISO, qcow2 or Amazon Machine image. Upgrading If you’re running a previous version of CentOS Atomic Host, you can upgrade to the current image by running the following command: # atomic host upgrade Release Cycle The CentOS Atomic Host image follows the upstream Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic Host cadence. After sources are released, they’re rebuilt and included in new images. After the images are tested by the SIG and deemed ready, we announce them. nmdispatcher logs are getting printed in CentOS7.4 cli.

Hi , When we upgrade to centos7.4 ,nm-dispatcher logs are getting printed in the cli page. Please find the below logs. localhost login:nm-dispatcher:req:1 'hostname':new request (4 scripts) nm-dispatcher: req:2 'up' [eth0]: new request (4 scripts) nm-dispatcher: req:2 'up' [eth0]: start running ordered scripts... nm-dispatcher: req:3 'connectivity-change': new request (4 scripts) nm-dispatcher: req:4 'hostname':new request (4 scripts) nm-dispatcher: req:4 'hostname':start running ordered scripts... Can you please tell me the reason for these messages? How can we remove this messages from cli.? Thanks and Regards, Vyshnav

Issue with selinux load_policy command

Hi, We have done changes in our Centos7.4 to disable unconfined user from our code. We have created an iso in which we have replaced unconfined with sysadm and we are performing an upgrade using the new iso. After upgrade current partition stop working . It started expecting policies for unconfined. When we perform a reboot things started working fine again. We are suspecting some issues with this command "load_policy -qi" When this command is being executed on partB in permissive mode and after we move system to enforcing mode. It start giving denials for unconfined. Can you explain what exactly load_policy do? Does it load the policies for all the partitions of the system ? Thanks and Regards, Vyshnav

Red Hat branding in comps.xml

Hi, I found out that comps.xml for 6.9 and 7.5 has "红帽" string. Problematic strings are - 红帽 - 红帽企业版 - 用于在红帽企业版 - 用来开发在红帽企业版 All of them are from zh_CN locale. Virt SIG packages tagged for release not landing on altarch mirror.

Hi, just noticed that http://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=22693 , which is tagged for release, landed on mirrors for x86_64 but it's missing in aarch64 and ppc64le. The same build shows up correctly in buildlogs for those arches.
