Our shortfall last year was i) number of ideas, and ii) mentors associated with ideas. We can always adjust ii) as we go, but we really need a nice, wide pool of ideas. Ideally we have something more like 20 ideas with good starting details. Just a heads up -- several times in the past the GSoC organizers have put Fedora Project and JBoss Community together due to a relationship with Red Hat. While I've argued against that practice (totally unrelated projects, etc.), I do understand the organizers' rationale - -- they have a limited number of slots (budget.) Thus I'm preparing for that possibility and talking with the Fedora Project organizers[1]. - - Karsten [1] tl;dnr here is that especially with the SIGs work, ideas for EPEL, similar tooling, etc. there are a lot of efforts that can benefit both projects. Skip creating anaconda-ks.cfg in EL7?

Hello, In EL6 I could well remove /root/anaconda-ks.cfg in %post, but not any more it seems and I like my installs clean. Anyone has any idea how to skip creating this file or deleting during install? I don't want to resort to running scripts upon first boot. Lucian -- Sent from the Delta quadrant using Borg technology! In general it makes sense to send these call-for-papers (CFP) announcements to centos-promo. But I worry that we may miss valuable interest here on the general -devel list. Or is it sufficient to send out occasional reminders to this list that people interested in representing or talking about CentOS should be on the -promo list? why are 6.5 kmods in 6.6 updates?

"docker-master" package: daily builds of docker master branch

Daily builds of docker master branch are available in the virt SIG repository as package 'docker-master': http://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=690 Should mostly work fine though use it AT YOUR OWN RISK. If you'd prefer to use something stable, you could choose between the RHEL-recompiled 'docker' package available in centos-extras and the 'docker' package available in the virt SIG repository. Atomic ostree update for 16th Feb 2015

Hi, Fixing for : http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=8200 implies major ostree version update in tonights ostree repos. I've done a couple of basic tests and it seems to work fine, but test before deploying onsite as well please.
