The first lot of pkgs for webstack on CentOS-5 will start showing up on the testing repo shortly. Its setup to push packages every 12 hrs, so you will see some churn in the repo. please let me know if my emailing about this stuff is getting on your nerves :-). the php rebuild is missing some subpackages: php-mhash php-mssql php-readline php-tidy php-mcrypt and some of the pear and pecl pacakges seem to not be updated either, but i haven't looked at that closely yet. and the mysql in testing isn't the same as upstream. is that something that is going to be addressed?

Hi Guys, Seems like the forums were down again today (although they've just recently come back up). I believe they were also down for a good chunk of time yesterday afternoon (UTC), and last Sunday too. Reports I've had from users say they get "very sluggish" before finally becoming totally unresponsive. Can anyone fill us in on what the problem is please as this seems to have been going on a while now? Thanks :)

Can someone help me diagnose this issue? I'm running CentOS 5.2 x86_64 and the heartbeat rpm seems to bomb out. CentOS on the Asus Eeepc ...

We talked earlier on IRC about the Asus Eeepc I think the idea was to start a wiki page with at least informations regarding the Eeepc. So here it is : http://wiki.centos.org/HowTos/Laptops/Asus/Eeepc (not linked from the CentOS on Laptops wiki page yet though , still a draft ;-) ) I had to modify the installer initrd.img to include the atl2.ko module for the wired nic to install from my local mirror .. where do i store it ? on the wiki page itself, as an attachment ? a simple link to a tmp space on my website ? I'm now wondering what's the best way to include the atl2.ko module during setup : a rpm that will be fetched from centos extras (?) or a simple driverdisk ?
