rkt rpm status on Virt SIG

rkt WIP rpm for CentOS 7 available for people brave enough to test. Throwaway envs preferred. - IMPORTANT: systemd 222 working on CentOS 7 but it can *ONLY* start filesystems under /, so it goes into recovery mode when /home is a separate partition. Works fine otherwise. Swap doesn't start either but guess it's not that big a deal atm. For details see: https://github.com/coreos/rkt/issues/1305#issuecomment-247111744 . RHGS porting from upstream to CentOS

[Infra] - Major outage for several services (please read)

As pre-announced earlier this year (https://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-devel/2016-May/014792.html) we'll have to move a part of our existing hardware to a new DC. That means that the following public services will be powered off and unreachable : - https://cbs.centos.org (Koji build farm front end and also builders/storage nodes behind) - https://accounts.centos.org (auth backend) - https://ci.centos.org (jenkins-driven CI environment and all nodes in that dedicated/isolated environment) What does that mean ? - Nobody from the SIGs (https://wiki.centos.org/SpecialInterestGroup) will be able to submit build jobs/tasks (so no update at all during that migration) - No CI job will be able to track CBS nor external repositories (and so that means also that http://artifacts.ci.centos.org will be unreachable) - Not possible for existing users to update their details on accounts.centos.org, and not possible to create new accounts either We're working on a plan to minimize the downtime/reconfiguration part, but at first sight, due to the hardware move of the racks/cabling parts/etc, the announced downtime will be probably ~48h. Migration is scheduled for """"Monday October 10th, 1:00 pm UTC time"""". Atomic Developer Bundle version 2.3.1 released

Hi, We have released the Atomic Developer Bundle 2.3.1 through CentOS Atomic SIG. About: Atomic Developer Environment (ADB) helps to setup Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Mesos Marathon on your workstation easily. Application developers can quickly create the setup to containerize applications and run them using mentioned platforms . ADB is designed to run on Microsoft Windows, OS X and on GNU/Linux and give homogeneous setup across different operating systems. ADB and OpenShift can also be used directly from Eclipse using docker tooling and OpenShift adapter [4] [5]. ADB consists of a Vagrantbox and couple of Vagrant plugins. Please refer project documentation for more information [3]. This release includes many changes and bugfixes, which are detailed in the release changelog of ADB [1]. Please update the ADB Vagrant box [2] and the required Vagrant plugins ($ vagrant plugin update) and give the new ADB version a spin. hi guys, I am trying to track down exactly how the tripleo jobs - specially the large image builds are being run. Were trying to track down network bottlenecks and the tripleo jobs are consistently coming up as the biggest pain points.
