RDO on CentOS

Hi, I work with the RDO project - http://openstack.redhat.com/ - where we're trying to make OpenStack as easy as possible to deploy on CentOS, RHEL, Fedora, et al. 2 golang SRPMS fail to build

All, We are also trying to build the extras tree (which contains docker). Part of the build requirements are golang and its helpers. I am having issues getting 2 of the golang SRPMs to build .. can anyone see what I am doing wrong? Repo trying to build is c7-extras here: http://buildlogs.centos.org/c7-extras/ Specifically, trying to build golang* on x86_64 and these 2 keep failing x86_64: http://buildlogs.centos.org/c7-extras/golang-github-syndtr-gocapability/ http://buildlogs.centos.org/c7-extras/golang-github-gorilla-context/ All the other golang things seem to build OK. All the SRPMs are available in git.centos.org rpms: https://git.centos.org/project/rpms How to get SRPMs from git: http://wiki.centos.org/Sources Can anyone get a good x86_64 build of those 2 packages? Live Media issue with language other than English (help/fix wanted)

Hi all, We received a bug report for the Live Media for Seven, and it was confirmed : http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=7217 So basically, selecting any other language than English makes anaconda/liveinst unhappy. I'm asking for help to find the root cause/issue/fix/patch, assuming people would be interested in helping to have a 7 release :-) I'm currently working on various things at the same time, but my initial '5 minutes search' leads me to multiple bug reports against anaconda version and liveinst. Consider for example that one : https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?format=multiple&id=1009278 It seems that some patches were added to anaconda to have it working correctly in the Fedora 20 Live ISO images. So if someone has enough time to browse/find particular patches included in anaconda to make it happy, feel free to browse the anaconda git (https://git.fedorahosted.org/cgit/anaconda.git/) and tell us what needs to be fixed/patched. Or if the issue is happening at another level (livecd-tools, or kickstart being used) , let us know too ! /etc/redhat-release

Hi all! I think it was on this list, in the last week or so I saw some comment about how some apps may grope the contents of /etc/redhat-release when installing themselves, so as to figure how which OS they're running on, and there was some mention of this not being the best of all possible ideas. What I'm not sure of is what would be a better way for an app installer to find out which OS version it's being installed on. On rhn tools and subscription manager

Coming late to the meeting.. sorry :) Ideally, I would ilke to see subscription-manager and python-rhsm carried in CentOS. There is no need to make it part of @base as it is upstream, but it would be nice to have them there. -- bk

[PATCH] brand_hunter.py that works with existing directories

The previous brand-hunter.py let you provide package patterns. It would then search SRPM repositories to find SRPMs matching those patterns (using the magic of yum), download and install them, and search content (expanding gzip/bz2 files as it goes) for possible branding issues. This version is a bit more modest. It assumes you have already downloaded content, e.g. using git clone/get_sources.sh.
