Feedback for fpaste-VERSION in c5-testing. Unable to test -i/--clipin, -o/--clipout, or --selection as I do not run X. All other options tested and all seem fine with the exception of an anomaly with --pasteself. Upon using this option the script successfully pastes itself to fpaste.org and then presents the user with: install fpaste to local ~/bin dir by running: mkdir -p ~/bin; curl http://fpaste.org/8WcN/raw/ -o ~/bin/fpaste && chmod +x ~/bin/fpaste Tested: Pipelines: echo "foo" | fpaste Redirects: fpaste < /path/to/file Files: fpaste /path/to/file stdin: fpaste <^d> All combinations of command line arguments were tested including argument overload. No anomalies / bugs other than that listed above were detected. Can this please get moved into extras soon? Having to point people to epel to install a cli paste client is somewhat annoying. Thanks. Hi, all In CentOS 5.5 , value of BASH_VERSINFO[5]/MACHTYPE is "x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu"(bash-3.2-32.el5.x86_64) However, "x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu" in CentOS 6.0/cr (bash-4.1.2-8.el6-x86_64) # cat /proc/cpuinfo processor : 0 vendor_id : GenuineIntel cpu family : 6 model : 23 model name : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3330 @ 2.66GHz ... ps: "x86_64-redhat-linux-gnu" in rhel 6.1(bash-4.1.2-8.el6-x86_64)

Thanks Karanbir. I don't know if they will run on Centos-5, but I don't know if any dependencies offhand that would prevent that. If they don't build for 5, I have a VM that I can make a build with for that version, all my physical machines are on 6 now (and 6 is awesome by the way).

CentOS 5.7 has no centos-release-cr package

Following the strong recommendation on the CentOS-announce mailing list, we had added the centos-release-cr package to our kickstart for PXE based installs. Since the release of 5.7, this kickstart fails since the centos-release-cr package can no longer be found. Given that there is a 5.7/cr directory, it appears the plans include having CR being an on-going convention rather than a on-time thing just for 5.7. If I understand this correctly that CR will be used again once upstream releases 5.8, then I would like to be able to leave centos-release-cr as part of my kickstart so it is already configured for the next batch of CR updates. Is it possible to add centos-release-cr to the 5.7/cr sometime soon? Also, on a somewhat related issue, is there a reason why this is not an single noarch package? Thanks

hi I've noticed that no one seems to be signing drpms. Is there a reason for that ? or is it just down to inconvenient ( its a bit messy needing to get drpms into secure-box type environments ), and of academic interest ( in that the re-assembled rpm will be signed, and need to go through a verify process ). - KB

Advice on compiling multiple packages with mock

Can someone point me in the right direction? How do you compile multiple packages continuously with mock? I have some 50 srpms waiting to be recompiled via mock for both i386 and x86_64 (again). 1. Is there a command I can give so all the packages are compiled in one go? 2. Do I have to sort them in proper order (dependencies) or can I just command to mock to check and sort them? Any help is appreciated, examples welcomed. Any update about 6.1 and/or 6.0 CR?

Hello, I'm going to set up a lab with freeIPA v2 and so as it is a tech preview in rh el 6.1 I would like to use CentOS 6.0/CR or final 6.1. Is there any update on expected release time for those? Thanks in advance, Gianluca

CVE-2011-3192 rpms for CentOS 5 still pending?

According to the CentOS-CR-Announce list, there is recently an update for httpd in CentOS 5 CR repo. But the announcement http://lists.centos.org/pipermail/centos-cr-announce/2011-September/000293.… refers to upstream RHBA-2011-1067, which is the version released with 5.7 base packages. Upstream has an update for CVE-2011-3192 whose announcement is RHSA-2011-1245, and this update of httpd has version number 2.2.3-53.el5_7.1, which is higher than that in C5 CR repo (2.2.3-53.el5.centos). Maybe there should be another update for httpd in CentOS 5 CR repo. BTW, any update on C6.1 (or 6.0 CR packages)? Regards.
