drbd dependency problem

Missing XFCE packages

Hello guys, I've recently installed XFCE after moving from Fedora to centos but currently I'm missing xscreensaver and orage packages for XFCE. Is there a chance to get them into centos repos?? -- Heiko Adams <heiko.adams(a)gmx.de>

Centos Plus Kernel and ATALK

Is it possible to activate ATALK in the newest Centosplus Kernel which will be delivered soon? :) Thx in Advance. nx-3.0.0 RPMS

There are some NX-3.0.0 RPMS that currently seem to work OK with the current freenx (0.6.0-13) backend (for centos-5). They do not do all the new things that nx-3.0 can do (we are waiting on a new freenx that does those things) ... however this version does compile on x86_64 (and there is also a version of freenx for x86_64 as well). Currently there is a symlink to /usr/lib/NX for 64bit OSes as well ... but that also should be cleared up when the new FreeNX is released. For anyone who wants native x86_64 support, these should be OK, at least for testing. Thanks, Johnny Hughes

Hello, I took the fedora core 6 srpms for orage, xarchiver and arj to rebuild them for centos 5 with the hope that these packages will soon find it's way into centos. Orage is a Time-managing application for Xfce4. Xarchiver is a lightweight GTK2 only frontend for manipulating 7z, arj, bzip2, gzip, iso, rar, lha, tar, zip, RPM and deb files. It allows you to create archives and add, extract, and delete files from them. Password protected archives in the arj, 7z, rar, and zip formats are supported. The arj package is an open source version of the arj archiver. This version has been created with the intent to preserve maximum compatibility and retain the feature set of original ARJ archiver as provided by ARJ Software, Inc. where is the centos build architecture?

hi, is there an way to access to the centos release build architecure? not to use it just see how it's working? eg i'd like to know create the centos/5/os/i386/images/pxeboot/initrd.img file which module was selected to include in it etc. afais there no source for this on rh ftp site so probably these non rpm files are build by the centos team. is there any docs about it or can i see the script which generate it? thanks in advance. -- Levente "Si vis pacem para bellum!"

Problem by installing orage on xfce

Hello guys, I've rebuild and installed the orage rpm from fedora core 6. Everything works fine excepting the following: The icon for orage is missing in xfce settings and xfce-setting-show orage raised "No such plugin: orage" error message. The settings plugin is placed at at /usr/lib/xfce4/mcs-plugins/ where the other settings plugins are placed too. Any one an idea how to fix that problem? -- Heiko Adams <heiko.adams(a)gmx.de>
