wireshark for EL2.1AS

Last week, a new package appeared in the updated for EL2.1AS. wireshark-0.99.2-AS21.1.src.rpm I can't find any kind of announcement from RedHat and as far as I can tell, it has never been part of EL2.1 before. Can anyone confirm what it's status it, and if it should be part of CentOS-2. catdoc: contributed RPM submission

php updates to 5.1.4 for x86 and x86_64

Php has been updated once again in the dev.centos.org testing repository. The current version there is now php 5.1.4, and has a couple new features including sqlite support, some bug fixes and the like. Getting CentOS up to date on SPARC

Hi all, I hope this is the correct list for this question: how trivial/non- trivial would it be to get CentOS/SPARC up to speed again on a Netra X1? I have primarily used Linux on x86 the last twelve years or so. I have only little experience with SPARC machines. The reason I am asking is because I have seen some cheap Netra X1s on the net at low prices, and it seems like a fun project for the summer :). -- Daniel

Hi, Unless someone else does pick it up for keeping it up, i'll stop maintaining it at end of August 2006. Until then it's only security maintained and no enhancements are made. I don't get into details behind this as it would just make things look too ugly. Custom CentOS distribution

Hello everyone, Long time RedHat and Gentoo user, and taking to CentOS for our server work. Have had really good experiences so far specially with yum. We are looking at creating custom install discs for CentOS to cut down server deployment time. Any suggestions for resources that will help do so? Thanks for your time. Regards, Devraj
