Call for presentations: CentOS Dojo at DevConf.us (August 14th, Boston)

Once again, we'll be hosting a CentOS Dojo on the day before DevConf.US in Boston. That's Wednesday, August 14th, at Boston University. The main devconf.us event will run Thursday August 15th through Saturday August 17th. We are looking for a full day of presentations covering anything of interest to the CentOS community. Availability of updated official CentOS 7 Amazon Machine Images

Hi All, Could someone please point me in the right direction for whom to talk to about getting the official CentOS 7 Amazon Machine Image updated? I’m talking about the AWS market place images here: https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/B00O7WM7QW which are also linked from the CentOS home page. They haven’t been updated since June 13, 2018 . It would be especially nice to have them updated given the availability of 1810. Thanks in Advance, Ian Gable

Hi, There is a plan from CentOS to support OpenSSL 1.1.1 in future versions of CentOS 7 because openssl community has OpenSSL 1.1.1 which was released in Sep 2018 and it has fixed for many vulnerabilities. And CentOS has 1.0.2k version. Can you please update on this? Regards, Shagun

I seem to remember asking this before, but I don't think anybody raised their hands.
